PPA Speech & Debate - New Accolades!

At the Detroit Urban Debate League Season Opener Tournament, the PPA Speech & Debate Team again turned in an amazing performance.

Andrew Fry was 2nd Speaker in High School Novice Debate.  Andrew had to debate maverick (that is one person debating in a two person debate round). Balin Kimbrell was 5th speaker in High School Junior Varsity.

 Padre Pio Academy took the 3rd Place Sweepstakes Award.   This award is based on the performance of the entire squad.

And the big surprise is that the team of Gideon Fry & Balin Kimbrell made it to the championship round in High School Junior Varsity Division after going undefeated in prelims and won 2nd place on a 2-1 decision. Great job, gentleman!
