Lenten Canned Food Drive

Food+Drive+poster.jpg

Padre Pio Academy students are collecting non-perishable food items this Lent for local parishes/food banks. The food drive is a great way to emphasize the almsgiving aspect of Lent. Students and their families have until the end of March to bring in their items. Classrooms who meet their goals will enjoy a dress down day at school.

In conjunction with the ongoing efforts of the Solanus Casey Project, which has handed out clothing, winter coats, pizzas and gift cards all year, the community of Padre Pio Academy are active in reaching out to those who need a helping a hand.

If you have anything to donate, please drop off at the school between 9 AM and 3 PM at the Madison Avenue entrance. You’re also welcome to bring donations to our Open House on March 31st.
