2022 Summer Course Offerings
Theology Course #1: On the Existence and Attributes of God
With St. Thomas Aquinas as our guide, this course introduces students to basic philosophical and theological principles operative in understanding the Triune God. In beginning to understand God, this course will focus first on His existence, select attributes of the one God, and consider in what way we can know and speak of God. In considering these questions about God, we aim to develop our ability to think through serious questions through discussion.
6:45-8:45PM Mondays/Wednesdays (June 20, 22, 27, 29 and July 6, 11, 13, 18)
Theology Course #2: On the Trinity
With St. Thomas Aquinas as our guide, this course introduces students to basic philosophical and theological principles operative in understanding the Triune God. In beginning to understand God, this course will focus on understanding how God can be both one and three. In considering these questions about God, we aim to develop our ability to think through serious questions through discussion. (Theology Course #1 recommended but not required for Theology Course #2.)
6:45-8:45PM Mondays/Wednesdays (July 25, 27 and August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17)
