All Souls Novena
Please join our community this November as we pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. You may add your loved ones to our prayer list below, and every school day this month our students will pray the prayer below. We ask that you join us in this novena as we pray for all of our community’s deceased friends and family. As Father Paul O’Sullivan, great friend of the Holy Souls, taught, they will repay us a thousand times over for our prayers once they reach Heaven.
“Never did a Mother of this Earth love so tenderly a dying child, never did she strive so earnestly to soothe its pains, as Mary seeks to console Her suffering children in Purgatory, to have them with Her in Heaven. We give Her unbounded joy each time we take a soul out of Purgatory.”
Prayer for the Faithful Departed
O gentlest Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on the souls of thy servants, the friends and family of our Padre Pio Community. Be not severe in Thy judgement, but let some drops of Thy Precious Blood fall upon our beloved departed, and do Thou, O merciful Savior, send Thy angels to conduct the soul of Thy servant to a place of refreshment and peace.
May their souls and all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
