Christian Story Time at PPA for Littles
Starting this autumn, Padre Pio Academy will be hosting a “mommy and me” story time for preschoolers!
The Bible records Jesus telling between 30 and 50 parables as he taught the disciples, crowds, and, eventually, us. These parables are short, memorable stories, through which Jesus shared the truth in a way that was easy to understand. Likewise, stories are a foundational part of the formation and fertilizing of a young child’s imagination with the good, the true, and the beautiful. Good stories that teach children how to be brave, how to love, and how to be charitable are of utmost importance to raising virtuous saints.
In keeping with this spirit, Padre Pio Academy is hosting our first preschool class, a parent and child story time, where beautiful Christian stories will be told.

Kindergarten students will also be in attendance!
Please arrive at 2:05pm, stories begin promptly at 2:10 in the gym.
In order for a timely and orderly dismissal to take place, story time ends at 2:45pm so that parents can get back into their vehicles and enter the car line at the appropriate time to pick up older children. Parents are also welcome to wait outside the school doors if they prefer. We ask that parents are not in the school halls during dismissal so that the classrooms can hear names being called and students are not distracted. Thank you for your help with this!
This class is best for children between 3-5 years old; their younger siblings are also welcome to join.
We only have room for the first 20 child registrants.
Cost: $20 per family for the Fall semester.
